By accessing or using NPC Voices you agree to these terms. NPC Voices is a directory service only — we connect game developers with voice actors. We are not an agency, we do not represent any party, and we are not involved in any agreements made between developers and voice actors off-platform.
For Game Developers
Respectful contact
Voice actors listed here are professionals. When reaching out, treat them with the same respect you would any creative collaborator. Unsolicited bulk contact, spam or harassment of any kind will result in permanent removal from the platform.
No scraping
You may not use automated tools, bots or scripts to scrape, download or systematically collect any content, contact details or audio from this platform. Any such activity constitutes a breach of these terms and may be subject to legal action.
Preview only
Audio samples on this platform are provided for audition and evaluation purposes only. Downloading samples for any other purpose — including use in a game, promotional material or any other project — without the explicit written permission of the voice actor is strictly prohibited.
Direct agreements
Any contract, agreement, payment or working arrangement made between a developer and a voice actor is entirely between those two parties. NPC Voices has no involvement, liability or responsibility for such arrangements.
🎮 How you may use voice samples
Voice samples on NPC Voices are made available by professional voice actors to help game developers and casting agents find the right voice for their project. By accessing samples on this platform you agree to the following permitted and prohibited uses.
You may:
- Listen to and evaluate samples for casting and audition purposes
- Download samples for internal review within your development team
- Share samples internally for the purpose of casting decisions
- Contact voice actors directly through the details provided on their profile
You may not:
- Use samples in any game, application, video, broadcast or commercial project without a separate written agreement with the voice actor
- Use samples to train, fine-tune or develop any AI voice model, voice cloning system or text-to-speech technology
- Redistribute, publish or share samples publicly without the explicit permission of the voice actor
- Use samples to misrepresent, impersonate or replicate the voice actor's voice in any form
- Use samples for any purpose beyond evaluation and direct outreach
Breach of these terms may constitute an infringement of the voice actor's intellectual property and performer's rights. NPC Voices reserves the right to remove platform access for any user found to be in breach.
For Voice Actors
Original work only
All audio samples you upload must be your own original recordings. You must own or have full rights to any content you submit. Uploading samples that contain the voice or performance of another person without their explicit consent is strictly prohibited.
You own your content
You retain full ownership and copyright of all audio and content you submit to NPC Voices. By submitting content you grant NPC Voices a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and stream that content on the platform for the purpose of connecting you with developers.
Accurate representation
Your profile must accurately represent your own voice and capabilities. Misrepresentation, including submitting samples that are not your own voice or making false claims about your experience, will result in immediate removal from the platform.
Removal requests
You may request removal of your profile and all associated data at any time by contacting us at
hello@npcvoices.gg. We will action removal requests within 30 days.
⚠️ Prohibition on AI voice training
The use of any audio content from this platform for the purpose of training, fine-tuning, developing or improving any artificial intelligence voice synthesis model, text-to-speech system, voice cloning technology or synthetic voice application is strictly and explicitly prohibited.
This prohibition applies to all users of the platform regardless of whether content is technically accessible. Permission for AI training use is irrevocably withheld. Any such use constitutes a material breach of these terms and may infringe the intellectual property and performer's rights of the voice actors concerned.
NPC Voices stands with voice actors in protecting their right to control how their voice and creative work is used. We will take all reasonable steps to pursue misuse where it comes to our attention.
Platform Rules
NPC Voices reserves the right to remove any user — developer or voice actor — from the platform at any time and without notice if we determine that they have breached these terms, acted in bad faith, or otherwise behaved in a way that is harmful to the community or platform.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Where changes are significant we will notify active voice actors by email.
Limitation of Liability
NPC Voices is provided as-is without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any agreements, disputes, payments or outcomes arising from connections made through this platform. We are not responsible for the accuracy of profile information provided by voice actors, nor for the conduct of any developer or voice actor using the platform.
In no event shall NPC Voices be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.
