NPC Voices (npcvoices.net) is a curated voice actor directory for indie game developers and casting teams. We connect developers with professional voice talent directly — we are not an agency and we do not facilitate payments or contracts between parties.
We collect only what is necessary to run the platform.
For voice actors who join the directory, we collect your name, email address, website URL, professional bio, and audio demo files you choose to upload. We do not collect phone numbers, payment information, date of birth or any other sensitive personal data.
For developers browsing the catalogue, we collect no personal data whatsoever — no account required, no tracking cookies, no analytics fingerprinting.
Your name, bio, website and audio samples are displayed publicly on your profile in the catalogue so that developers can find and contact you. Your email address is used solely to send you your secure login link and may be visible to developers who choose to contact you directly through the site. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or any automated decision-making.
We do not sell your data to any third party, ever.
Your public profile information is visible to anyone visiting npcvoices.net. We use Supabase to store data securely and Cloudflare to serve audio files and host our infrastructure — both are industry-standard platforms operating under their own privacy policies and appropriate data protection agreements.
Demo samples you upload are stored securely and displayed publicly in the catalogue for developers to preview. You retain full ownership and copyright of your audio content at all times. We do not claim any rights over your recordings. You can request removal of your samples or your entire profile at any time by contacting us at devs@npcvoices.net.
NPC Voices is categorically opposed to the use of any audio content featured on this platform for the purpose of training, fine-tuning or developing artificial intelligence voice synthesis models, text-to-speech systems, voice cloning technology or any synthetic voice application.
All voice samples on this platform are the original creative work of professional voice actors. By accessing this platform you agree not to download, copy or use any audio content for AI training purposes. This applies regardless of whether samples are technically accessible — permission is explicitly and irrevocably withheld for this use case.
We stand firmly with the voice acting community in protecting the right of performers to control how their voice, likeness and creative output is used. Unauthorised use of samples from this platform for AI training purposes constitutes a breach of these terms and may constitute an infringement of the performer's intellectual property rights.

We retain your data for as long as your profile is active on the platform. If you request removal, we will delete your data within 30 days. Anonymised, non-identifying usage data may be retained for platform improvement purposes.
You have the right to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to object to processing or request that we restrict how we use your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. Where changes are significant we will notify active voice actors by email. The date at the top of this page always reflects when it was last updated.
